first earring?? please help!!!!!

I reealy want to get an earring but the problem is i hate stud earrings and what i was wandering is can a first earring be a dumbbell earring one like this???...

or just any like this a black dumbbell earring or do i have to wait for 4-6 week with a stood is this the only way??

You have to wait for the piercing to heal no matter what..The earrings used to pierce are specially made to stay in while it heals. So that is a must.

But may I recommend getting both ears pierced? It would look way better.
