Just like we talked about Ladies wrist watches in our previous edition, today we would complete the story with male wrist watches.

If you want a new watch, then you should weigh up the pros and cons.

Are you buying a watch for office or for casual wear? If you are buying a new watch for work, then consider what your watch says about you before buying it.

An analogue watch with a nice silver chrome strap will give you a cool, classy and sophisticated look that can be worn for office purposes.

If you love gadgets and gimmicks then you might be drawn to a plastic watch, with a big face and large digital numbers and lots and lots of options, a databank and remote control and all other sorts of things.

If you get one loaded with gadgets and a plastic strap, then its a bit geeky chic. Plastic strap says young boy whilst metal chrome says sophisticated gent.

However, consider how often you will actually use those functions once the novelty factor has worn off. Also consider the question what will look better on you? : a tacky plastic watch, or a quality chrome metal watch.

The best way to accessorize with a suit is to wear a good quality silver chrome watch, with a tasteful analogue interface.

Therefore it is best to have both watches in your wardrobe - by all means wear your gimmick watch on the weekend, but whilst at work, stick to something more tasteful like a nice analogue, chrome wrist strap watch
