How would I go about writing a Soliloquy from someone elses perspective?

We read a short story at school and were ordered to write a soliloquy from the main characters perspective. The story is How to Tell Renata, and its about a girl who's mother is dating a pervert, who watches the young girl while she sleeps and whatnot. She has to tell her mom, but doesn't know how. How would I write a soliloquy from this?

I never read "How to Tell Renata," but that shouldn't really matter.

You need to brain storm the daughter's entire being. I'm pretty sure the soliloquy will focus on her current problem of her mother's perverted boyfriend, but having some sort of idea of who she is, should help you write words that would reflect her personality.

How does the daughter feel about her mother's boyfriend? Is she afraid? Angry? Gross-out? Worried about her Mother? All of the above?

How does it make her feel when he watches her sleep? Is she not really sleeping because she is paranoid that he may do something to her in her sleep? I mean, this is pretty terrifying, I think, so I can imagine how she feels.

Lastly, she is having issues telling her Mom about her boyfriend's perversions. So, I'm guessing that her Mom appears to be happy with him and her daughter doesn't want to ruin her Mom's happiness, but is worried that he might do something bad to either one of them is she keeps her mouth shut.

I am just brain storming a story that I know nothing about - but once you find some true feelings that this character is feeling, then it will help you develop your soliloquy.

How do you deal with Deployment?

I have been with my boyfriend (he’s my high school sweetheart) for over 5 years and we r still together...Right now he’s currently training in Seattle…. He just recently graduated from Ranger school... which im not sure but i think he deploys for only 3-4 months??he’s soon going to deploys in February. I know that may be along was away… but these months feeling like they are flying by… I’m starting to get very nervous and very scared… I use to love to watch movies bout war such as Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, and Band of Brothers, but now that the love of my life has chosen his career to be a soldier my heart fills with fear… I cant watch any of the movies I once loved… I cant listen to the news about Iraq… my heart fills with hurt and fear… I even have vivid nightmares…how do I get over this? Can you get over fear?? How do you deal with deployment? Please any advice would help…

My husband is in the Marine Corp, he has not have to go overseas yet, but because of the military he is often gone doin things with them. I think your still young, 3-4 months is really not a long time when you have a life of your own. Just love him, and respect him enough to understand that he has something he has to do. And have your own life (this does not mean going out to party.), work full-time, get a BA degree, start saving money. Your not married to this guy, but if you'd like to be then get your life together while he is away. He will love it!!! Men want to know that they are needed, BUT at the same time they want to know that if they are not around your not going to fall apart either. They want a woman that can be strong and still take care of things if they have to go away both physcially and emotionally. Just let him know you love him, and that you will be there when he returns, that's all he wants from you. And like I said if you really love this guy start to get your life together with college degrees, savings, etc....you can start to create this for the both of you.

What could cause EXTREMELY stinky armpits?

Here's all my info: I am 25 yrs old,female,had a breast aug. done about 5 years ago.

Maybe the hairs on your armpits are infected. Try a different razor and use a shave cream or hair conditioner on your pits to shave with. The hair conditioner softens the hair and lets you get a closer shave. Maybe this will help with removing all of the hairs when you shave and the hairs won't get infected as bad.
I am not sure if this is correct but it is worth a try before going to the dermatologist.

What should a basic car repair tool kit contain?

I mean one that you would carry with you in the car, not a complete garage set.

Water proof tape (for temporary repairs to a coolant hose), extra fan belt(s) for obviously reasons and the necessary hand tools to install the belt(s), pliers, screw drivers, small roll of mechanics' wire, flash light and jumper cables.
These things should get you back on the road - but basic maintenance at regular intervals and the basic obvious checks - such as checking the spare tire pressure, assuring that you have a jack and lug wrench and checking all of the fluid levels are equally important.

Added note - and a small first aid kit for when you scrape your knuckles - it's inevitable.

what are the best TV settings?

I have an old Zenith Sentry 2 TV and I was wondering what the original settings were for the picture. Like contrast and such. Or what is the best setting for picture?

The exact settings will vary, especially with an older TV. Some DVDs include a set of test patterns that you can use to calibrate your set. Look for a THX Certified logo. Lacking that, just set it by eye. You want to adjust brightness and contrast to give you clear whites and deep blacks, without losing detail in highlights and shadows. If you set the saturation and tint to make skin tones look good, your color settings should be close - just don't pick someone with an orange "tan".
